Dharwad: The police in the twin cities have externed yet another rowdy from Dharwad. An order has been issued to bar the rowdy from the Vidyagiri police station limits in Dharwad.

Ajay Parashuram Koravar, 30, a resident of Shriram Nagar, Dharwad, engaged in illicit activities for some time, has been deported to the jurisdiction of Mulabagilu Town Police Station in Kolar district for a period of six months starting February 23.

The rowdy had developed a pattern of intimidating innocent individuals by forming a gang, meddling in real estate transactions, threatening and assaulting people to seize property, and instigating fear among the public. Multiple cases have already been registered against him at Vidyagiri Police Station, and a rowdy sheet has been initiated against him as well. Additionally, he was known for intimidating witnesses not to testify against him in the registered cases and displaying rowdy behavior in public. Due to his persistent illegal activities, he was kept under close surveillance.

His deportation for six months aims to curb his unlawful activities, foster a healthier societal environment, and impart a lesson to him.
